I am a 26 years old Game Designer who is currently finishing his master exam at the HTW Berlin in Germany.
Since october 2018 I worked on several game projects with great teams and tried my hands on all kinds of areas within the game development world.
Each project had it's own unique role requirements which is why I have down it all from programming, level design, technical art, tools programming, sound design, ui/ux design and of course asset creation of which I mainly did 3d modelling and texturing.
For every project however, I was involved with game design as it is also the main focus of our studies.
I started learning about game development way back in 2012. As someone who couldn't always buy the newest games, hardware and consoles I was very limited with what games I could play. One day, this resulted into the thought "Hey, what does it take to make a own game?". Since then I began a long journey that went from just a hobby with just 14, to a full blown passion of creating games. It turned out that developing games did in fact make even more fun then only playing. Analyzing how features work, the balance of Level Design, Player Guidance, the technical limitations which resulted in such creative solutions games had to deal with really fueled my dream of working inside this industry.
Until that would happen, I learned everything that was available from the classic low tech YouTube tutorials back in the day to just really read all of Unity's API and Unreal's documentations about there engines to create my first simple prototypes and games myself.

As I learned to be very problem solving oriented, I took this discipline to teach me every aspect of developing games step by step. Programming, 3d modelling, texturing and learning all sorts of new software become my daily habit to this day.
My goal is to make player oriented experiences. Games who can entertain and let people smile again in a world that seems to become a darker place sometimes.
